 In 1993, when George Mate founded
M&R Environmental, he set out to define an industry standard for
service and technical leadership in the recycling of waste oil and the
distribution of environment-friendly substitutes. This tradition of
innovation and environmental consciousness continues in this
family-owned and operated business, with M&R expanding its services
to include the recovery of oil filters, plastic containers,
contaminated fuels, waste solvents and antifreeze, and the sale of
coolants, degreasers, descalers, and absorbents.
M&R Environmental has over 50
employees, including licensed professionals, facility maintenance
staff, business development managers, trained drivers, and field
personnel working from our state-of-the-art
Burnaby facility. We take a special pride in our ability to develop
practical solutions that both serve the interests of our clients and
protect our environment.
Our most valuable asset is the trust that our customers have placed
in us to provide them with the best service and most up-to-date
